About Us

With a combined 30 years experience behind the lens photographing for magazines, editorial publications and collaterals, Dan and Cherylin have developed a knack in understanding the whims and fancies of their clients. They believe that one should be flexible and open to discover the unexpected, for the unexpected often intensifies their drive to deliver a work that speaks beyond the visual feast.

A photographer by day and adventurous cook by night, Dan transforms simple recipes into innovative dishes for his family. Since young, Dan used to rally around his family’s seafood business at Tekka market. Having grown up there, he knows where the freshest ingredients are found. His home-style signature is Curry dishes– a hot favourite among his guests.

Cherylin on the other hand juggles artfully between her shared passion for food photography and entertaining her two energetic kids. Her skillful talent in managing her kids clearly shows through her kids photography while her passion for food in food styling. It takes more than just love in doing what she does.  Having empathy and sensitivity makes a lot of difference too.

Dan and Cherylin have photographed for clients from diverse industries and backgrounds, spanning across private and public entities. Their works have been featured on websites, marketing collaterals and publications such as magazines, cookbooks and annual reports. Renowned for his works on culinary photography, Dan is highly sought after by the Food and Beverage sector.

The indefatigable duo are ever willing to learn and explore new frontiers in their chosen fields. This is evident in their quest for knowledge in the subjects they are specialising.

Dan Ong's Bio

Singapore-based photographer, Dan has been shooting professionally for more than 20 years. Dan Ong offers the ideal blend of creative flair and technical skills with his relaxed and down to earth approach to photography.  Specializing in food, portrait and interiors photography, he is passionate, meticulous and detailed and is known for producing high quality clean and unique imagery. His good-enough-to-eat food images can make your taste buds tingle!

Dan’s photographs capture both elegance and simplicity and he is always dedicated to producing the best results for every client.  He loves playing with light as a driver for depicting mood and feeling in all his works.  He works closely with all his clients to fulfil their overall vision during all stages of photography, production and post work.

Cherylin's Bio

A mother of two, Cherylin, is always entertaining her kids through food and artivity.  Her love for family and kids’ photography together with the wealth of knowledge and skills in food styling is beyond words.

A strong believer of family unity and values, Cherylin specializes in creative photography. She believes that photographs are precious memories for your home that tell the story of your family and they can be passed down through the generations as heirlooms!

As food stylist, Cherylin is excellent at sourcing for props and can manage the styling according to the direction of the shoot. She is always interested in taking on new food styling projects and challenges.  Her endless flow of creativity juice must be certainly from her interaction with her energetic kids.
